  • First and foremost need a job offer from a Canadian employer.
  • Secondly, you would need your employer to get a positive LMIA

Since you are in a foreign country and your employer is in Canada, a lot of times you may be unaware of the specific requirements that an employer needs to fulfill. Providing you with a job offer is simply not enough, as they would also have to receive an approval from Employment and Social Development Canada and would have to complete a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
